We kicked off the holiday weekend with a cookout at our house. Many friends and family members attended. It was a fun time! Then on Saturday we went to Chris's sister's house in the afternoon where Ty and Maddie enjoyed their bounce house. Saturday night we went to the Watton's for beer can chicken....my favorite. However, Maddie and Ty did not stay awake for the fireworks. Maybe next year. Today we went back to the Watton's for an afternoon swim. Marsha and Lauren Harris were there to entertain Ty and Maddie. I thought the water was cold so I was appreciative of their help. What a great weekend!
