A Sad Day

This morning one of our Nashport school buses was involved in a fatal accident. This is the first time in my ten year teaching career that I have had to deal with a student death. The student was in kindergarten. Three counselors came in to help the staff today, since students were not told of the accident at school. Counselors will be at school tomorrow to help the students. I learned more about grieving today than I ever wanted to know and will probably learn more tomorrow. Please keep this Nashport family in your prayers. Then give your child an extra hug and kiss and count your blessings.
