Buckeye Lake

Maddie and Ty had their first boat ride on Buckeye Lake today. It only lasted a few hours before the rain spoiled our ride!
Maddie and her barbie loved the experience.

Ty liked it too, even though his life jacket had him in a choke hold. It is hard to find a life jacket for a 20 lb, 2 year old.

Maddie got to drive the boat with Papa.

And so did Ty!

The sun was bright so Maddie needed sunglasses.

Here comes the rain! The first round didn't last very long, thank goodness!

Captain Ty

We stopped by and visited Dave and Beth Kessler's house on the lake. Ty and Maddie had a blast here! They have a small dog, Izzy, and Cassi and Korri spoiled them!

Luckily, we got the boat back in time to unload it and get the cover on it before it started pouring. The evening ended with yummy pizza at the Pizza Cottage.
