The Birthday Party

It was finally time to officially celebrate Ty and Maddie's birthday with friends and family. The party was held at Champion Gymnastics

While we were waiting on all our friends to arrive, a game of Duck, Duck, Goose was played. For most kids, this was their first time playing this game. I was holding Ty because he was not happy for about the first 30 minutes of the party.

Maddie enjoyed running around even though she didn't understand the concept of the game.

The next game was Musical Mats. At this point, I was getting a little nervous about the party. Not many knew how to play this game and no one liked the idea of being "out!"

Ty was so cute when everyone was singing Happy Birthday. He was ecstatic!!

I was so excited that Ty and Maddie got a new picnic table. They have outgrown their old one.

The party was a blast! We are blessed to have such wonderful family and friends to celebrate with. Chris and I always make a big deal of Ty and Maddie's birthday (why?...see Memory Lane post).

We missed the Lamonicas at the party. They were at their cousins 1st birthday party. When I broke the news to Ty and Maddie that Ry wouldn't be at the party, Maddie tried to convince me that she was Ry's cousin too!
