COSI

Monday we went to COSI. We were surprised and happy to discover that very few people decided to spend the day after Christmas there!First, Maddie and Ty explored the Dora exhibit. They loved it even though they do not watch the show.
Maddie is afraid of Swipper and Ty doesn't watch any tv.

Ty checking his otter.
The otter had a fever.
Maddie examining her jaguar.
Ty and Maddie waiting for the show about the solar system to begin. I was so proud of Ty. He sat and listened to it all! Usually, he doesn't stop moving long enough to listen to anything. I guess this preschool thing might be paying off!
After seeing a show about Christmas lights, we went to our favorite spot....Kidspace!
Maddie asking me if she was bleeding. She had a scab on her head and was obsessed with it!

They spent lots of time playing in the water. They were drenched!
The Meyers family stopped by to see us for a little bit before heading off to more exhibits.

Ty trying to figure out how to use crutches.

Maddie decided to take care of the "brown baby."

Dr. Garber sporting a new look for the stethoscope.
Ty giving his baby some meds.

Then we all went to the Gadget exhibit.
Maddie trying to pull herself up with a pulley.
She needed Daddy's help.
Aunt Tracey supervising the boys.
Ty building something.
Maddie building too.
COSI wore Maddie and Ty out. They fell asleep on the way to eat at Eddie George's restaurant.

COSI

Since it was a little warm outside and Ty had a doctor's appointment at Children's we explored COSI.
Most of our time was spent in the "Kids Space."

Maddie and Ty were busy playing in all the different stations.

Chris and I just followed them around. It was weird how they don't really need us all that much in a place like this.

We only made one other child cry when Ty dropped a tool on his head. It was an accident, but Chris was so humiliated. He apologized to the child's mother like a zillion times.
Before we left, we toured one exhibit.

Ty and daddy listened to some 3-D music.

Ty and Maddie fighting over the levers. I am not sure why......there were two levers!

We are shooting water.

Ty found himelf very interesting in the mirror.

Ty feeling the water in the ocean exhibit. He liked it so much he cried when we moved on!

COSI is awesome! Not only does it have interesting exhibits, teachers get in free (just take your school ID). Therefore, it was a free trip for us because kids two and under get in free as well. Can't beat that! There is a kids zone where kids three and under can play. This is where we spent the majority of our time. However, Chris and I did try to sneak in a little of the other exhibits like the ocean and space exhibits. But we were smart enough to keep Ty and Maddie on the move and happy. This made for a very successful trip.
