Maddie and Ty wanted to do a "project". I told them they would have to wait until Daddy got home from golfing because the "project" cabinet had a child proof lock on it that I cannot open. Well, guess what? Ty and Maddie can open it! Therefore, we did "projects!"

Friday Night Lights

Football season official began Friday night. Tri-Valley hosted Upper Arlington. TV beat UA 29-27! It was such a good game! Maddie had been brushing up on her cheers for the last few weeks.

She had to bring her pom poms so she could cheer in style.

I had to take Maddie down to say hi to Brooke (her favorite cheerleader).

The highlight of Ty's night....running on the turf after the game.

Even though it was after 10 pm, he still had plenty of energy to do laps!

Ty and Maddie actually watched the entire game! I did not have to entertain them with any toys during the game. They only had one snack and that was during the fourth quarter.

Maddie: Why do they (the football players) help each other up?

Me: They do it to be nice. It's called good sportsmanship.

Maddie: Well, I can get up all by myself.

First Day of Preschool

First day of preschool....pretty uneventful. I got Ty out of the van, put on his backpack, and off he went. He walked right into school never looking back to see if I was following or not. I got Maddie out of the van, put on her backpack, and off she went. She walked right into school never looking back to see if I was following or not.

Did I cry? Nah, I thought about it but really didn't have the time or energy to shed a tear.

especially since she is sporting Alyssa's underwear! Yes, I said Alyssa! Maddie takes a nap in Alyssa's bedroom (Alyssa is a sophmore at Ashland). When Maddie came downstairs she was wearing Alyssa's underwear and refused to change back into hers!
