Water Table

It was hot today! So we broke out the water table.

Maddie was wet....she decided to strip...

...even when I requested that she keep her clothes on or at least some clothes on!

Ty kept trying to get into the water table.

New Grill

When Chris went to Wal-Mart to get a container for the art supplies, he came back with a grill for the kids. Apparently he had to because it was on sale and Ty loves Braxton's grill!
It took teamwork to assemble the grill.
Maddie did a few cheers to help Daddy.
Maddie and Ty had to hold certain pieces.
Ty holding the grill up for Daddy.
Maddie got bored with the assembly part and had to go take care of her baby.
She returned when the job was completed. Perfect timing!
Ty flipping some burgers.
Still grillin'!

The Baby

Ty got a paci from one of the baby dolls and pretended he was a baby. I wish I had a video of it because he was laughing so hard during the pictures!

Ring Toss

Chris had to make like a gazillion rings for the ring toss game for field day. Ty enjoyed each ring he made.
Nice toss Ty!
Ty pretending he was Hank (Lynda's dog).
Daddy making his rings.
The pile kept growing and growing.
"Help! I'm stuck!"
"This isn't so bad."

Still Celebrating

Another graduation party...this one was Michael Newsom's...at the country club.

Ty still eating. After he ate his two plates, he navigated over and helped himself to BB's plate.

Maddie picked a baseball cookie for her dessert.

Maddie and Bry

Ty picked out a cookie with black icing...turned out not to be a good choice (apparently black icing stains)!

Maddie and Ty played ladder golf. They loved it, but it is a little dangerous.

Maddie getting ready to throw.

Ty concentrating before he throws.

This was the best picture that I could get of the two of them all night.

Ty giving Matt a good bye kiss.

More Grad Parties

Ty had more cake at the fourth grad party of the weekend.

Maddie snapped this pic of Emma and me.

Ty eating again with Aunt Lala. Why doesn't he weigh more than 24 lbs?

Maddie giving Uncle Ted a smooch. Boy, does she love her Uncle Ted!

Daddy and Maddie with Haylie, the grad. Good luck at OU Haylie!

Couch Shopping

Sunday afternoon we went to Columbus to purchase a new couch. Not very often do we take Maddie and Ty shopping anywhere (not even Wal-Mart or Kroger!). They aren't what you would call good shoppers! However, Chris and I had done all our couch shopping online and knew basically what we wanted. I think we got our new couch in about 30 minutes and Maddie and Ty loved the experience. They tried out numerous chairs and couches. Then we went to Easton to eat and run a few errands. At lunch, they sat side by side in their booster chairs, colored while they waited for their food, and then chowed down!

Zembs Bros. Field Day

The kids and I went to Zemba Bros. Field Day Saturday morning. Chris was in a golf outing so we went without him. I was sure Ty and Maddie would love this adventure....equipment to ride on, a bounce house, wagon rides, pony rides, food, etc. They would say they had fun but they didn't do much. We would wait in a line to ride on a bulldozer then refuse to get on when it was our turn (hopefully, because they didn't want to ride with a strange man alone!). We waited in line to bounce then when it was our turn we wanted popcorn instead. We waited in line to ride the pony, got on the pony, then wanted off before it moved! Got the idea? Thankfully Aunt Kim was there working and was able to have Ty or Maddie hang out with her. Then I could take one to where they pretended they wanted to go!
Maddie did love petting the coyote skin!
