Cross Country

Tuesday Chris had a home cross country meet at Dillon. That meant he had to spend Monday evening marking the course. I decided to join him by going there to walk and then letting Ty and Maddie enjoy the playground.
Ty tried to pour the juice from one box to the other. Needless to say it didn't work too well.
Maddie practiced her gymnastics skills on the swings.

"Tuck"
"Straddle"

It was snack time for the birds too when Maddie spilled the bag of chex mix.
Then Monday, I picked Ty and Maddie up from the babysitter's and we went to Dillon for the meet.
While waiting for the meet to begin, we played with tennis balls.

Fall Play Date

Sunday afternoon we had a Fall Play Date at McDonald's Greenhouse. There were five other families that joined us! For some reason Maddie wanted me to hold her most of the afternoon. Luckly, Tiffanee and Melissa helped out with Ty since Chris stayed home to do his chores.

Somehow our group found our way to the exit. I was excited since last year Chris and I had to give up and go back to the enterance.

McDonald's Greenhouse was so much fun!

Old McDonald

During mass this morning, Maddie asked, "Is that man going to sing Old McDonald?"
*"That man" is the priest.*

Aren't I Cute?

Before mass this morning, Ty put on Maddie's headband and necklace that Aunt Kim gave her. It was quite a fashion statement!

The Boy Party

While Maddie and I were at our girl party (the baby shower), Chris and Ty went to Uncle Jeff's to watch the OSU game. Maddie and I caught up with them after the shower. We found the boys riding around the neighborhood on a golf cart. Ty is telling me that a duck tried to attack them!
The corn hole boards were a huge hit! Notice Maddie rearranging her silly bands.
Ty retrieving the bags.

Maddie got to take a ride on the golf cart too.

Baby Lewis's Shower

Maddie and I went to a baby shower for Chris' cousin, Heather. She is due at the end of October.
All the little girls had to be right next to Heather to see all the neat gifts.

Maddie wore her silly bands. She had to do her "silly band work" quite often during the shower. "Silly band work" is taking each bracelet off and putting them back on one by one.

Homecoming Parade

Tri Valley's Homecoming Parade was suppose to be tonight. Mother Nature decided otherwise and it was changed to a pep rally in the gym.
Showing our school spirit...clapping!

Liam and Ty hanging out on the bleachers.
Maddie standing in the middle of the gym floor trying to get closer to the band and cheerleaders.

"Say cheeeeese Mama!" as Maddie snapped a pic of me.
Ty mimicking the cheerleaders.

I think she fell down while doing some dancing.
"Chase me, Brax!"

Liam trying to talk Chris into letting him down on the gym floor.
Another game of chase.

Of course there always has to be some excitement. Maddie has been wearing panties for long stretches of time, but still won't go on the potty. When she has to potty, she changes into a diaper. Well, we wore panties to the pep rally, and she had an accident. It was all over the gym floor and her. Maddie was not very happy with the situation!!

When the rain ended, there were fireworks. Ty and Maddie liked them even though they were really loud.
