Farm Tour

Pa took us to help him spot spray Saturday morning.
I am not use Pa thinks Maddie and Ty will be farmers. Ty pulled out a chunk of Maddie's hair in the tractor, and Maddie wouldn't drive. When we got back from our ride, Tiff, Nate, and Brax were waiting on us. They came to check out the farm.

The tractors were a little dirty.
Brax had to check out a stalk of corn. He thought they were just big weeds until now!
The combine wheels are huge!

test driving

Pa's truck
We stopped to throw some rocks into the stream.

It was a long walk from Ma and Pa's to the barn.

We headed back to Zanesville Saturday afternoon. Ty was exhausted!

At Ma and Pa's

Thursday we set out for Wilmington to spend a few days with Ma and Pa. We had them all to ourselves since the cousins were on vacation. Since the boys were gone, we sent Daddy up to their house to borrow their gator for a few days.
Maddie was driving....
then it was Ty's turn to drive.

Maddie pushing Ty.....I am not sure why.
As we all know, Ty loves to drive!

Ma embroidered Maddie and Ty's new red chairs.
They have to get sewing lessons from Ma.

Daddy and Pa had a golf outing on Friday. Daddy won this lovely hat for the longest drive.
I had a great day Friday too. Aunt Margie and Jen came and babysat Ty and Maddie while Ma and I went shopping. It was so relaxing just to shop, and I purchased some bargins for myself!
Where's Ty?

Young's Dairy Farm

The goat liked Ty.
Thursday evening we went to Yellow Springs to Young's Dairy Farm to see the animals and have some yummy ice cream with Ma and Pa.
inside the barn

Maddie wasn't sure about the cow being so close to her.

She liked the chickens a little better.

Mmmmm...homemade ice cream.

Maddie kissing the ceramic cow while waiting for her ice cream.

Good Intentions

I didn't capture the adorable moment when Ty and Maddie were hugging each other. I was too slow. Then they accidently tumbled down to the ground and Maddie landed on Ty. She tried to help him up.
"Mommy, I didn't mean to!"

Coloring

Maddie and Ty love to color. I was brave and got out the markers. It didn't take long for me to remember why I usually just get our crayons.
"Look we are using markers! They are messy!"
Notice Maddie's green lips.

The Cottage

Daddy surprised Ty and Maddie with NEW (we usually get used items from friends, neighbors, and family) a Neat and Tidy Cottage.
Ty was really excited and curious.
They so wanted to help Daddy, but Daddy didn't really want their help for some reason.
How can you resist their help?
Finally, Daddy put it all together and Ty jumped in and started enjoying it.

Ty was playing so hard that he had to take a break and get a bite of his popsicle from Eric.
