Project

Ma always has the best projects to keep the kids entertained.

Group Photo

Once again, I tried to take the perfect picture of the four cousins!

Farming

We were home for the last two days of combining. Pa had like a hundred and some acres to do.
Ty watched Uncle Doug and Marvin dump.

Maddie and I rode with Pa and Carson in the combine.

She asked Pa a zillion questions. Most of her questions revolved around Pa's wardrobe. Finally, Pa rattled off a bunch of questions for her that she had no answer for except, "because" which in this house isn't an answer. Then Maddie asked Pa more questions including, "When are you going to ask me some questions?"
On this trip, Ty decided not to ride in the combine or on a tractor. He just sat in the Expedition with Aunt Tracey and watched the dumping process.
We had to give Pa and Marvin a lift home on Friday. Marvin got in the Expedition next to Ty and Ty said, "I have been watching you, Marvin!" I guess Pa has him trained already!
Saturday Uncle Doug gave Maddie and I a bumpy ride to Pa in the combine.

Bounce U

Friday we went to Bounce U in Dayton. We spent 30 minutes in one huge room with at least 5 big bounce things and then 30 minutes in a second huge room with at least 5 more huge bounce things. They even let us stay a little longer because they were not busy!Ty loved shooting the balls!
Maddie went down the slide a zillion times in this exact position.
Carson and Logan shooting at Ty.
Ty climbing the steps to the slide.
All 4 going down the slide.
Batter up!
Swing, Batter, Batter!
Even Aunt Tracey had fun!

Ty and I went down the slide together.

Maddie trying to keep up with Logan and Carson by climbing through the ropes.

The monkeys were hanging!

I had to keep a close eye on Ty. He wanted to go over and behind all the blow ups. Here he is trying to hang on the ropes that connect two bounce houses.

Amazing

Amazing...all 4 cousins in the same room playing and no one was fighting!

Thanksgiving

This year the four of us traveled to Louisville to spend the holiday with Ma's family. We celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas all in one day!
Maddie did look cute when she arrived. However she stripped her socks and shoes and then pushed down her leg warmers!
Maddie opening her presents.
Ty loves his sock monkey, Vaughn.

Logan got a Nerf gun.
And so did Carson!
The adults have a gift exchange too. Pa got back his Bengals jersey he gave Eddie last year. He was so proud of himself for getting this $80 Bengals jersey for pennies. However, no one wanted it! The main reason...this particular player hasn't played for the Bengals for a few years. I can't believe it was so cheap :) I have a feeling this isn't the last time we will be seeing this jersey!
Uncle Sam modeling his new hat!

Making Rolls

Ma had some good assistants on Thanksgiving Eve to help her make homemade yeast rolls.
Ty and Maddie loved covering their hands in butter so the yeast didn't stick to them.
Ahhh...sticky hands!
Maddie trying to make a roll like Ma's.

Mr. Fix It

The cash register and scanner to the kitchen were broken, so Ty asked Chris for a screw driver. He worked a long time on it!
