Playing in the Snow

Maddie dressed to go play in the snow. She has on her coat, Carson's snow pants, Ty's sweatshirt, and Ella's boots. She had lots of people to thank when getting dressed. It sounded something like this, "Thank you Ella" while putting on her boots. "Thank you Ty," while putting on her sweatshirt. I think you get the picture.
Ty was not real happy about dressing in layers. However, as soon as we stepped outside, he never stop grinning! It is a lot of work to get dressed (and undressed). I think we were all sweating by the time we were ready to go outside.

This was Ty and Maddie's first outdoor snow experience. Maddie could hardly walk, and Ty wanted to put his face in the snow.
They wanted to play on all their outdoor toys. Chris and I had to clean off the slide and their swings.
Maddie clearing off the alligator teeter totter. She slid back and forth on it with her snow pants on.
Ty on the slide. He could hardly bend with all his clothes on.
Playing soccer in the snow was a hit, too. We played a game, girls against boys. The game involved Maddie and I chasing the boys around the yard trying to get the ball. You could hear Ty and Maddie chuckling throughout the neighborhood ( and probably Chris and me breathing)!
