Children's Choir
Since we were home this weekend for Carson's birthday party, we went to Ma and Pa's church. During Sunday School, the Children Choir practiced a song they would sing during the church service. Maddie and Ty agreed to sing too! However, Maddie just sang. Ty had no interest in singing once he got a special snack at the Children's Sermon. He couldn't wait to eat it!
Cheerleading Clinic
Maddie wanted to go to the cheerleading clinic again this year. You are suppose to be in kindergarten to go, but Coach Kelly lets Maddie go!My how a year makes a difference! Last year, I had to stand beside Maddie the entire time and do the chants and dance with her. This year I just sat back and watched (actually I did my school work!).
Sam was my student in third and fourth grade!
*Stay tuned....Maddie will be cheering at Saturday's game!
**Chris is still having a hard time swallowing Maddie's obsession with cheerleading.
Chris was describing a conversation he had with a teacher at school to me at the dinner table.
Chris: Lori and I were talking at school about the Zanesville game. She said that Maddie was doing a lot of cheers and that she is really good with her moves for being only three. I told her it was too bad that when she turned 5 she was going to have to give it up to concentrate on playing basketball.
Maddie: No Daddy, I am a cheerleader player not a basketball player!
Ball Games
Just about every Tuesday and Friday night we are at a basketball game. Ty and Maddie love to go. I am proud of them because they actually watch the game now!Ty loves his Daddy. Some nights Ty needs to see Daddy before the varsity game is over. However, when I pull him away, he cries!
