Easter Baskets

The Easter Bunny finally made it to our house Monday night. When Ty and Maddie woke on Tuesday morning, they found their Easter baskets filled with puppets.

Yes, puppets. They have a puppet theatre and needed more puppets for their shows.

Maddie and Ty thought the puppets were pretty cool.

But they kept asking where their candy was.

I had to break the bad news that there was not any candy!!

Maybe next year the Easter Bunny will do a better job!

Better Late Than Never

Unfortunately, we did not get all the Easter activities completed during the holiday! So tonight we went to BB's for dinner and then some egg coloring.

Everything was going pretty good. We had only had one spill. Then Ty decides to crush an egg!

Ty yelled, "Yellow!" when it broke open and he saw the yolk.

The finished product. We left the eggs out for the Easter Bunny to see. Yes, the Easter Bunny is just making his way to Garden Road tonight!

Easter

Easter morning and this was the best picture I got of Maddie and Ty. They were too busy to stop and smile at me! They were both awake by 5:30 am to celebrate the holiday!

We were at church by 8:30 to have pancakes. Then the kids put on an Easter program. Carson had his line memorized and then held his sign.

Maddie found some eggs. Ty found two. All they want to do is pop the egg open and eat the candy. They do not run around trying to find as many as possible....yet!

Ty and Maddie helped put all the empty eggs into a box for Aunt Tracey. It was a fun Easter weekend in Wilmington. We celebrated Easter with the Garbers Sunday night. Ty asked to go to bed at 8:15 and Maddie wanted to go bed at 8:30. I think we wore them out!

(By the way, Maddie is sleeping on the floor again tonight!)
