Because....

While riding in the car, Maddie and Ty like to listen to the OSU Marching Band CD.

Maddie: Is that a girl band or boy band?

Ty: Girl

Maddie: No, it's boy.

Ty: Why?

Maddie: Because God made them that way.

I guess you can tell what we have been talking about lately at our house. Ty and Maddie have been curious about skin color, why certain kids have to wear eye patches, etc. I tried to explain to them that God made each of us special. I think we will continue to have this discussion!
