Kick Off

The library had its annual Summer Reading Kick Off on Saturday.
First, we signed up for the summer reading program and then ate cookies and punch to celebrate!

Next, we walked outside and sat in the grass to listen to a blue grass band.

The magician was making balloon animals.  The line was really long!  So Chris and Nate told the kids they would get some balloons and make them a dog and bunny...stayed tuned for that post!

Finally, Maddie busted out some of her dance moves.

Husdon got up close and personal with the band.  Maddie and Ty went to chase him.
The event wasn't anything spectacular, but the kids had fun justing hanging out on the lawn of the library with each other.  It was a nice start to our Saturday!
